Talwalkar\'s vasant vihar gym in Delhi is a total rip-off. I joined recently for Rs 17,500 for 6 months and now they are offering an 18,000 per year price special. They were signing up people at 25,000 for a year till yesterday with no information on the impending discount. All pleas for a rebate have fallen on deaf ears.
The front staff charged me Rs 5000 for a month , some time back and issued no receipt and did not enter it in the computer system (pocketed the money). They will do anything to make a fast buck..I dont know if the management in Pune or Mumbai is aware that the staff here signs on people for a month or two on verbal basis and does not log them into the system..when the customer asks for a receipt they are brushed away with statements like \"Its ok\", \"you dont need the receipt\"..
You are better off joining a local colony gymn instead of these idiots..the staff is not helpful..its too crowded in the evenings..and the overall environment is unpleasant..
If you say that you follow international practices follow international ethics as well..dont make an idiot of your exisiting consumers by offering a 50% discount to new members and not pass on the advantage to existing customers..
keep up with this attitude and no one will stick with your gymn..you will have no customer loyalty..at least i have sworn not to renew my membership..

Very Bad Feedback on BodyCare
I have also had a very bad experience after enrolling myself to this Body Care, They are cheating us from day one, I just went to enquire about the program ,but was lured to join the program immediately .Well I joined for the Rs.12,000 package and told them that I will pay it in installments
So gladly they agreed and talked nicely that i gave them my credit card and swiped my card for 12 K. And then later she told me I have to pay service tax of Rs.1,500 ,which was not told before , but then I didn’t want to create a scene ,so I agreed and again gave my credit card.
But after a month I got my credit card bill ,in which I had to make the complete payment of 12K entire fee of body care within 15days.I was shocked to see it and immediately took it to Pinky and told her ,they were not surprised ,as I know that they have done it purposefuly. She told me that she will repay me 12K and again swipe the card for installment as that installment button was not working properly on that machine, she asked me to come when the payment date is one week or so.
Ok , then I waited and took the bill again before a week of payment ,Then she said she doesn’t have money and will do it on next 3 days. Ok then I went again after 3 days, same answer.
The bill had to be paid by Saturday , and when I went on Wednesday she told she will positively do it on Saturday morning itself. So I came back again and took it again on Saturday morning.
And look what she said, she said she has not got any money today also. And she told me its such a small amount, can’t u pay it.? I told her that its not a small amt for me, and asked her to pay me.
She started making faces by then, talking something in Hindi with her friends there.
What she planned I don’t know, she told she will arrange by evening 5 o clock, Ok I agree like a fool, came back home.
Went again at 5 in evening after calling her up at 4.30, she agreed and asked me to come over
Then I went there at 6 taking my kids along .But look ,she didn’t even come to me to speak ,I was waiting for her ,and she kept looking as if very busy. Later after some time she sent her attender to tell that money is not arranged, I lost my patience , I told her to arrange it immediately or else she will face it up.
I asked her why she asked me to come when I called her up, But she said she didn’t get any call at all ,while I have her called number on my mobile,. Then I understood that I am being made a fool .
I just lost my patience and screamed at her that if she doesn’t do the payment I will not leave her simply, Look what she said, “When u cant afford such money why do u join here, ?we are doing a favour for u ,and many more things she started to tell.
I told her that I dnt want any favour and I am paying for what I am getting.
Tehn she is telling me to take my kids and leave outside ,she simply started creating nuisance.
I just told her to settle the issue and Iwil lgo, but no ,she just sat aram se chatting.
I called up to my husband to come there immediately .When he came and asked for settlement,she said same old story that she has no money and she cant do any hep regarding that and called up the security to throw us out.
My husband lost his temper ,and while we were discussing abt the matter in Kannada, this Pinky is shouting st us that we kannadigas are not educated and we come there simply to eat their head.
She said localites shud not be allowed for next time to her course as we kannadigas are not decent and started throwing tantrums abt Karnataka and kannada,
This was ultimate , we just couldn’t tolerate .We said we have to take a serious measure or else she wont budge, and yes we want her to be taught a lesson for teasing our Karnataka and kannada.
We went and lodged a complaint immediately to the nearest police station, the officers there were not surprised as they said they have so may complaints on this Body care already.
really it is a ver ybad experience with no respect towards customers in this Body care clinic.I advise nobody to join such institutions, its jsut a cheating programme.

Kellogs Special K - user rating
Wah! the new Kellogs K weight loss special really works...I lost 3.5 kg in a month...trust me!!!!
I tried this a month ago after reading enough reviews. And guess what...it really worked. I ate that cereal for breakfast and dinner everyday and had a hearty lunch. initially it was a little monotonous to it that everyday twice but slowly got used. Its a little expensive but the results are guaranteed. Too good ..try it folks!!!

I joined the Fitnessone indiranagar branch about eight months ago for a annual membership paying a huge amount. they were soo nice to me when i was joining and they hardly even look at me now.
The trainers are always trying to sell new packages to me and that is the only way they talk to me. The trainer i was assigned has left the job a few months ago and ever since i am left on my own to work out. The other day i asked one of the trainer to guide me with my exercise and she asked me to take personal training. They are always talking to each other on the gym floor and hardly even look at the members working out. The machines are not well maintained and the cardio equipments carry this "under maintenance" board most of the time. The gym is so bad for the high price we pay.On the whole a very bad experience and i would not recommend anybody to join this place.

Herbalife - a happy user
I had gained about 15 kg after my first baby and my husband kept complaining that i look like his mother. I had to badly lose some weight and everybody asked me to join a gym.
but my problem was that the baby was too young to leave her and work out in a gym for 1-2 hrs. then one day my friend suggested me to try Herbalife. I bought 1 box and had that instead of 2 meals - breakfast and dinner. it tastes quite good with milk. initially i felt very hungry but slowly i got used to it. i used to walk on the treadmill for 1/2 hr daily and i lost so much weight. it is a very good product not only to lose weight but also improved my skin and hair. i still use it to maintain my weight but it is only for dinner now.

Talwalkars - a bad review
I was a member of Talwalkars a few years ago. I had a lot of terrible experiences there that I would never think of renewing my membership or recommend it to someone. The gym with respect to equipments is quite good but the trainers are so indifferent and have major attitude problems.
There were such short of trainers that all of us were forced to pay bombs and take personal trainers. Well…this does not solve the problem as your trainer is not in the gym very often and you are doing all the exercise yourself. There are such thieves in the gym that they have to appoint a police in-house. One day I went to take shower and left my pouch containing all the creams outside and I come out to fine nothing…ridiculous!!! I was forced to carry all of them inside the bathroom then on.
Talking about the music it sucks. The same CD is playing again and again and for variety you can ask them to play your own CD which will never come back to you again. Ultimately I lost more money than what I paid…..

VLCC - a walkin talks
I had to lose some weight and visited one of the VLCC branches In Bangalore. They initially suggested me to go for a 15kg weight loss along with some tucks. They gave me a total of about 41000plus taxes. Later when I said it was very expensive and I need time to think about it they felt they would lose me if they won’t give me another rate and book me then.
The lady went inside for a while and then came back and told me she has worked out an exclusively for me where I pay for 10 kg and get 5kg free and the price drastically reduced to about to half the price told earlier. Don’t know how that price difference. Well they gave me an impression that they are cheating me and they have no fixed rates and it is like a vegetable market where the person who can bargain better will get a good price.
On the whole I felt nothing was genuine and struggled big time to even get out of the center and till day I get phone calls from then asking me when I would come and join. Horrible!!!!
